Our Fleet
Our fleet of Reach and Wash fitted vans are mainly Ford Transit Customs. Our Short Wheel Base and Long Wheel Base vehicles include full purification systems, or delivery only units with finishing filters. We are able to offer hot and cold water systems with a water tank size of 600L.
Poles and hose reels are not included as standard but we can include in the hire if required for a small additional charge.
We will always aim to accommodate your specific requirements when organising hire. Our vehicles are subject to availability and clients’ without the use of their vehicles (write/off, fire and theft) will be prioritised over minor vehicle repairs, should we be low on availability.

Our fleet of Replacement Reach and Wash Vehicles are owned by our sister company, A S Vehicle Hire Ltd.
Clients of Alexander Swan Insurance Services Ltd whom insure their van and water fed pole system are able to pay a nominal annual fee to entitle them to the use of one during a claim.
Clients Of Alexander Swan Opt In.....
- If your vehicle is written off, stolen or involved in a fire and you are unable to drive/use your own and you have subscribed to this special facility, you are our priority.
- If your vehicle is involved in a Road Traffic Accident and damaged, but still drivable, and you have subscribed to this special facility, we will provide you with a replacement Reach and Wash Vehicle during your own vehicle repairs.
- In the event of “fault” claim or where there is no Third Party to recover from, we restrict the hire duration to 14 days. In this case we are unable to recover any hire charges but we take the hit. Delivery & Collection is charged for but if you collect, there are no additional charges applied.
- In the event of “non-fault” claims, we allow use for the duration of repairs, or in the event of a write-off, 7 days after settlement of the van and wfp system policy. Hire charges are recovered from the Third Party Insurer along with the cost of delivery and collection.
Clients of Alexander Swan Insurance Services Ltd are able to extend hire at a 50% discount of our standard “non-client” rates and subject to availability.
Our Alexander Swan Insurance Services Ltd clients will always be given priority.
