Introducing our Finance and Account Executive – Nicky Smart
In our ‘meet the team’ series we are shining the spotlight on our wonderful colleagues. Nicky Smart answers some quick fire questions about her role as Finance and Account Executive at Alexander Swan.
Tell us a little bit about your background and career so far
I came to Alexander Swan 20 years ago as a full time Administrator. I have worked in many different areas within the company and now my main focus is finance and accounts. I run the Direct Debit facility, assist colleagues and clients with accounts queries as well as process Property Owners renewals. I have had two children so now I work part time.
What do you like most about your current role?
I like the variety in my role, each day is a little bit different.
What do you bring to the team?
I like to think I bring my experience to assist my colleagues with any queries. I will always do my best to offer support in any areas whether its related to work or personal.
How does the team work together and what do you achieve for your clients?
We all have our individual roles, but we can easily adapt to each other’s roles when needed. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and will go above and beyond to help clients with anything they need.
What does the future here look like for you?
I would like to further myself within the finance and account’s role. I am currently completing the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
What interests you outside of work?
My family. I have two daughters and we enjoy going on little walks, bike rides and movie nights. I also enjoy fitness and have been slowly adding equipment to my little gym at home.
