As we all get into the festive spirit, we’re sharing some practical reminders to ensure your Christmas remains merry:
- Ensure your home is protected by using timers for lights, keeping valuables out of sight, and lock doors and windows with deadlocks
- If you‘re travelling, notify a trusted neighbour and avoid posting travel plans and check-ins on social media channels
- Watch out for parcel thefts
- Dispose of branded packaging discreetly
- Check your tree lights for safety and unplug them when unattended
- Never leave candles unattended – and ensure they‘re away from flammable items
- Double-check that that your valuables, especially newly purchased high-value gifts, are adequately insured within your sum insured limits. If you need guidance, we‘re here to help!
